For Config 2023, we designed a Playbook as part of It’s Nice That’s collaboration with Figma, a publication celebrating curiosity and spontaneity in the creative process.

The Playbook combined essays, activities, and visual commissions to explore how openness and play can spark better design. Hand-made and customised typefaces sat alongside interactive games, bold illustrations, and original writing, creating a publication that was as engaging to look at as it was to read.

We love the tactile, energetic piece of print we ended up with, which captured the spirit of experimentation at the heart of both Figma and the design community.
